TVR®OPT revisits the allure of small round glasses dating back to the 1920s for its latest TVR®532 Classic Circular collection. A fashion statement in the early 20th Century, these round glasses were originally crafted using authentic tortoise shells, as well as gold.

Marrying functionality with a bold design aesthetic, TVR®OPT delves into the archives of its Sabae factory, uncovering three round eyeglasses from the 1960s. Drawing inspiration from this historical treasure trove, TVR®OPT breathes new life into the past, amalgamating elements from these vintage eyeglasses to craft a design adorned with impeccable details.

Timeless and enduring, circular glasses have been the signature look for renowned architects and artists, including luminaries such as I.M. Pei and Le Corbusier. This classic eyewear shape harks back to an era when rounded lenses were exclusively utilised for corrective purposes. Circular glasses stand out as an ideal complement for all face shapes, thanks to their graceful curvature and symmetry.

Incorporating the finest features from its archives, the TVR®532 upholds the legacy of the highly sought-after TVR®508 Deco Ear collection, which made its debut in Spring 2018. The new model is meticulously crafted with 6mm Zylonite material, ensuring a robust structure and is presented in the charming Dark Oak hue, offering a vintage colour effect from within the material.

The front showcases a beautiful protruding mountain bridge with an old-style keyhole bridge, accompanied by short pads on the side of the nose for enhanced comfort. The keyhole design not only adds aesthetic appeal but also effectively distributes the weight of the glasses, making it suitable for those with wider noses. Moreover, the latest release features a five-barrel hinge design for enhanced durability. Adding to its visual charm, the Baroque Style 17th Century engraving metal cores are subtly integrated into the temples, providing extravagant detailing.

We ship with major couriers such as DHL and UPS. We will send out the tracking number to your email together the selected courier service.

If your order is received before 16:00 CET (Working days), we aim to dispatch on the same day.
If your item showed ‘pre-order’, then please expect an additional 6-10 days to dispatch date.

Returns

If you decide to return your order, please let us know as soon as possible after you receive them at hello@sunofjapan.com

You have 14 days to advise us if you wish to return it. All returns must be received in excellent unworn condition, cleaned and unmarked, with all cases and associated paperwork.

Upon returning, if no label is inside the parcel, please request immediately a return label by contacting us through email.

Once the package is received at our office, we process returns as quickly as possible but it can take up to 5 working days.

Restocking

When more than 3 sunglasses are being returned for refund, Sun Of Japan may apply restocking fees of 10% of the total order. You are welcome to contact our customer service in case you need to try on more than 3 frames so we can advise.
